Since acquiring Section.io, Webscale is expanding its intelligent CloudFlow offering with edge-native computing. To meet these changing needs, we’re looking to add an experienced engineer that will directly influence the success of the expanded product offering by contributing to all parts of the agile software development cycle, from design to release. The code they write will run as part of a pipeline that serves hundreds of millions of HTTP requests daily.

Responsibilities
- Maintain, debug and enhance code with technologies like Nextjs, React, GraphQL, Javascript/Typescript
- Flexibly work across a variety of different projects and codebases.
- Work with members of the product team to refine and define requirements
- Convert designs from Figma into working components used in Next.js, utilizing the Tailwind CSS framework
- Ensure successful deployments through independent thorough code review and verification.
- Work occasionally on backend features with our headless CMS or our GraphQL API
- Monitor for errors and performance problems
- Help guide architecture decisions related to our front-end applications

- Frontend: Next.js, Tailwind
- Backend: Hasura, Strapi, and a go-lang based GraphQL API
- Cloud providers: CloudFlow
- Database: MySQL/Postgres
- Infrastructure: CloudFlow Kubernetes
- CD/CI: Jenkins, Github actions
Qualifications Required:
- 3+ years of experience with Next.js and Typescript
- Skilled with CSS and converting designs to components
- Solid understanding of HTTP
- Understanding of GraphQL
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus:
- Previous experience with a headless CMS
- Working knowledge of cloud provider services and their use cases
- Knowledge of Kubernetes

- Base salary: $130,000 – $175,000

Salary Range & Benefits
The Salary Range for this position is $130,000 to $175,000. The range for the posting reflects the minimum and maximum range of salaries for the position offered in California, Colorado and Washington. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, competencies, relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for equity. Other rewards and benefits include: health, vision, and dental insurance, accident, disability and life insurance, 401k plan, sick leave and flexible paid-time off.
